Upon your arrival at Bagdogra (IXB) Airport, our agent’s representative will escort you to your hotel in Gangtok. Revel in the warm welcome you receive from the hotel staff, complete your check-in procedure and take some rest in your room.

Spend the first day of your Darjeeling-Gangtok vacation leisurely. Check out your refreshing surroundings, munch away steaming momos, take a stroll on the hilly roads or simply relax and breathe in the cool mountain breeze.

End the first day of your Gangtok-Darjeeling tour with a peaceful overnight stay at your hotel.

Itinerary

Bagdogra airport - Gangtok (125 kms / 4 hrs) After arrival meet & greet at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport & transfer to Gangtok (5,480 ft.). On arrival check-in to the hotel. Evening free at leisure or you can visit M G Marg on your own. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Tsomgo Lake & New Baba Mandir Excursion After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & New Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city. In case of Land slide or for any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provide alternate sightseeing & i.e. – Banjhakri Falls, KTC Ranka, Lingdung Monastery Ranka, Ganesh Tok, Honuman Tok, Tashi View Point. OR Namchi, Temi Tea Garden (Outer View), Samdhupse, Chardham. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Gangtok Local Sightseeing - Darjeeling (110 kms / 4 hrs) After breakfast proceed for a half day tour of Gangtok city (Timing: 9.00AM to 1.00PM) covering - Banjhakri Falls, Government Institute of Cottage Industry (Closed on Sunday, 2nd Saturday), Orchid House Flower Show, Sikkim Research Institute of Tibetology, Dordul Chorten. Afternoon transfer (DEPARTURE AT 2.30 PM) to Darjeeling (7100 ft. / 2100 m). On arrival check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Early Morning (at 04.00 am) visit Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. world's third highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P. N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Ava Art Gallery, Tea Garden (outer view), Peace Pagoda and Japanese Temple (4 hrs from 9.00 to 13.00 hrs). Evening free for shopping & leisure. Night stay at Darjeeling.

Darjeeling – NJP Rly Station / IXB airport (98 kms / 3 hrs) After breakfast check out from the hotel in time and take the departure transfer to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport for your onward journey.
